F.A.Q.’s

Q: What time will our charter depart?
A: We generally leave the dock between 7 & 8 AM, however you should call the night before your charter to discuss departure and weather conditions.

Q: What if weather conditions are bad?
A: The captain will keep you up to date when you call…if the captain decides that the weather conditions are not safe, he will cancel, in which case your deposit will be refunded or you may choose to reschedule.

Q: Will I need a fishing license?
A: The cost of your charter includes the cost of the license and the paperwork is taken care of by your crew.

Q: Can we keep the fish we catch?
A: Of course! We do adhere to all local fish and game laws; as long as the size limit is legal you can keep them.

Q: Is that price per person?
A: No the charter price is for a private charter. You book the whole boat, however you may bring up to 6 people total. Please no more than 6 per USCG regulations.

Q: What does the charter include?
A: All bait, tackle, rods, reels, licenses, ice for the fish, and drink cooler.  The first mate will clean and bag your catch at the dock.

Q: What is the standard gratuity?
A: If you’ve had a good experience, it is customary to tip your crew 15-20% of the cost of your charter. This is not however mandatory.

Q: Where can I get my fish cleaned?
A: Captain Rich and his crew will clean your fish at the dock at no additional cost.

Q: Can we bring alcohol on our charter?
A: Sure…it’s your charter. Please remember Safety First.

Q: What types of payment do you accept?
A: Cash, Check or Credit Card at the boat please.

Q: What should we bring?
A: A camera, lunch, drinks, sunscreen, hat, motion sickness medicine if necessary, a cooler to take your fish home in and anything that will make your trip more enjoyable for you (legal of, course).
